The Junto receives generally positive feedback, with guests praising its stylish design, comfortable beds, and excellent service. However, some recent reviews cite issues with service availability (snacks and room service), lack of housekeeping, and inconsistencies with room service presentation. Despite these concerns, the hotel’s overall atmosphere and convenient location are frequently highlighted.
My husband and I stayed at The Junto for 3 days and 2 nights. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, and the hotel has many positive qualities. The facilities are modern, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere that we truly enjoyed. Our room was spotless, clean, and well-maintained upon arrival. However, there were a few issues that affected our stay. At check-in, we were informed that complimentary snacks and beverages were available for guests, but we were unable to enjoy this benefit because, according to a supervisor, they had been out of stock for quite some time. In addition, our room was not serviced during our stay, which was surprising given the hotel’s standard and reputation. Finally, the room service breakfast did not meet our expectations. Rather than the presentation one would typically expect from a hotel, the meal was delivered in cardboard boxes with plastic utensils and disposable cups, making it feel more like a food delivery order than a hotel room service experience. Despite these inconveniences, we appreciated the beautiful facilities, the cleanliness of our room upon arrival, and the overall ambiance of the hotel. With some improvements in service and attention to detail, the guest experience could better match the high quality of The Junto’s facilities.
We stayed at the Junto this weekend for a music festival and had a wonderful time. Loved the decor and accents in the room, the comfortable beds, and the shower design. We were a little confused with the blackout curtains at first, but after we figured out the controls this was an amazing touch for us as we needed to sleep in. We had breakfast twice at the hotel and enjoyed yummy food and amazing customer service at both places (at the bar downstairs and the rooftop bar). We ended our Saturday night at the rooftop bar, which was fun to people watch at. I actually lost my phone and the customer service to get it back to me was unexpected and I was grateful everyone working at the hotel was kind and helpful. Great place to stay for a weekend trip.
I had a wonderful experience for my first time at The Junto! The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooftop bar was great! The room we had was also amazing! What made the experience even more memorable was the excellent service we received. All of the staff were so nice, but Anthony at the front desk was absolutely awesome! He was always checking on us to make sure we were good and that our stay was going well. We also had the opportunity to meet Jeff when we sat at the bar and he was just as great! He even made me a personalized drink! Overall, I loved my stay at The Junto and I can't wait to go back!
We stayed at The Junto for a business trip, and it was the best choice we ever made. The staff is all across the board, incredibly wonderful. The front desk helped us eagerly, the lobby is full of energy, with students, families and business folks working, and meeting. The coffee shop has the nicest barista we've ever met (looking at you, Jeff), and the restaurant is warm and inviting, with delicious food. Last but not least, our room was well-appointed, with fancy tea, a great kettle, and a super comfortable bed. We will make another visit to Columbus just to stay in this hotel again. It is amazing!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Junto! The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. Everyone from the valet to the front desk staff was incredibly personable and welcoming. I absolutely loved the vibe of the lobby; it has such a warm and inviting atmosphere. My room was cozy and thoughtfully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the towels were soft and plush, and my favorite feature was the window seat. It was the perfect spot to sit, relax, and unwind. I can’t wait to come back for another stay!
The vibe! The staff! We had a blast! Not only was the vibe of this place on point, the staff was incredibly helpful. We were new to the area and they helped us find all the yummies in town and cool places to hangout. They even laughed at our puny jokes. Oh, and the beds were the best! Highly recommend
I came to cbus to visit cosi and explore the city a bit. We checked in to the hotel in the evening after being out for the day. I recommend parking in the COSI garage as it’s a $15 flat rate for 24 hours. Entering the hotel is a bit confusing but atmosphere is nice. The front desk staff was very nice. They ended up upgrading us from a king executive room to a suit of sorts. Rooms were very nice. We were given a free welcome drink. This was great too. Food delivery to room is nice. I recommend getting the burgers delivered from the tavern. There is sparking and still water on tap in main area. This will be my spot anytime i’m in the area.
**Updated 1/6**: I accidentally posted the wrong review earlier and have now updated it to reflect our stay at Junto. I appreciate Junto’s kind and professional reply to my mistake. We stayed at The Junto for a couple of days over Christmas and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, and we were lucky to receive an upgrade to a city-view room — we loved looking out at COSI and the evening skyline. Our kids especially enjoyed it, and COSI being right across the street was incredibly convenient. Breakfast in the lobby was excellent, and the staff were warm and friendly throughout our stay. I also used valet parking — kudos to the valet team: always efficient, courteous, and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
First time at this hotel. Great location. Easy walk to Nationwide Arena. Close to several restaurants/breweries. Great interior and rooms. Anthony greeted us. Great check in experience. Loved the little cafe and the bar. Wonderful, lovely communal space in the lobby. The valet is a bit expensive but worth it, IMHO. Great service from them as well
Place is awesome. We had a birthday party one night at the Brass Eye which was great, especially the views. Then we spent NYE in the lobby bar downstairs. The manager who runs the downstairs bar is fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the coffee shop in the morning. Would highly recommend this place.
