Guests frequently report severe safety issues with car break-ins, unprofessional service, and significant cleanliness deficits, often resulting in unreturned funds or refunds issued to the wrong party. Conversely, a few satisfied guests praise the rooms' amenities and the hotel's convenient location despite acknowledging its dark reputation regarding vehicle theft.
Horrible! How do you check in, get to your room, and it’s FLITHY! Then when you call the front desk, they refuse to come up and see the room, they tell you to bring pictures down! Might I add the customer service from the two females and one male at the front desk was awful, they have a don’t care attitude, I guess because it wasn’t their night that was ruined. To top it off, it’s Saturday night, one of the busiest night of the week and ironically there’s not a manager on duty! No discount or refund, but we’ll “clean” it, and two hours later the only person that I’ll give a good review to was the lady who cleaned the room. Very disappointed Hilton, very disappointed.
Two stars may be generous , not sure how this has the Hilton name attached to it. The rooms were once modern and new , now they look worn. The refrigerator in room is ridiculously loud , and talking to a colleague he says he just unplugs it when he stays there. I mentioned a noise to the front desk and they said they would look into it , no follow up and the noise was still there all night , so I guess its normal??? Only positive is the pantry is well stocked .. I would not stay here again unless there were no other options
Stayed here for one night for a girls night. We were surprised to find out the in house restaurant was closed up. The check in took a good 20 mins and the workers were rude. They didn’t even tell us our room number or how to find the elevator. Once arriving to the room it appeared clean but had the smallest pillows I’ve ever seen. Think toddler pillow or throw pillow for a tiny ikea couch. The entire lobby smelled like cigarette and weed smoke bc of people smoking right next to the rotating door. The location is convenient but I would not stay here again.
This hotel had extremely noisy guests who smoked weed, left children unattended at 3am ( a child was knocking on their own door trying to be let in by siblings- also children)- and very loud walking down hallway and talking loud from 1030 thru 3am. Hotel guests complained and the front desk person came up, but I don't know how it was handled. The pillows on the bed was tiny, no extra blanket or pillows in the closet, and the heater made THE worst noise during the night. I was hoping to drown out the noise of the people with the fan on the heater, but it was crazy loud when it kicked on and off. This is the second Hilton branded hotel I've tried to stay in Columbus and I have been let down twice now. I will no longer use this chain of hotels. Why can't hotels hold people accountable for their disruptions to other guests? They should have to pay for my room! I got no sleep and had to return home earlier than planned. Do not go here.
This happens daily. Be careful at night you can be held at gun point while cars are being broken into. Bring your own towels because they are very hard to get. No discounts are given for these conditions.
The location is convenient to Easton. That is absolutely ALL that is positive about this hotel. My daughter and I stayed here as an overnight visit passing through the city. We waited what felt like forever to check in. When we got into our room, we were so impressed with the condition of the room. They were really nice…until we flipped on the light in the bathroom. Cockroaches scattered everywhere. We immediately went to the front desk to turn in our key and explain why we were leaving the hotel. We were ended up paying for another room at the Hampton Inn and I’ve never seen the refund yet. This is going on 7 months. Don’t be fooled by the nice building and amenities. Stay at the Hampton Inn down the road.
Do not under any circumstances stay at this hotel. The first night of our stay (a Thursday), 10-15 cars in the parking lot (one which was mine) were broken into and had their windows busted. Two nights later, it happened again. When a friend asked how my car was I thought he was joking. Mine was spared the second time, but another friend who still had plastic on his previously broken window, had another window busted! The hotel itself seems incredibly under-staffed. They had zero security. They had one bartender who also served as the waitress. She was polite and tried her best, but people would end up with half their food or drink orders and have to remind her about the rest. Lack of towels was an issue for anyone who asked. The elevator area outside the pool was absolutely flooded one night because people would be in the pool, have no towels, and have to walk back to their room drenched. The slot on the wall where shampoo should be was empty. Not an empty bottle that was mistakenly left, just an empty slot. I used body wash for my hair during my stay. One of the front desk workers was a friendly guy, but was also blatantly pouring liquor from under the reception counter into a disposable coffee cup and drinking during while working. A maintenance worker I spoke to one day said he was the only maintenance employee. I rarely ask for anything at a hotel unless I need some more coffee or towels. I usually hang the do-not-disturb sign for the duration of my stay and keep the room tidy on my own. So I am the definition of easy to please. But this place failed on every basic level you'd expect from a hotel. The only positives I can find are the building itself was nice and new, and the staff was generally kind.
For the price of staying at a Hilton hotel I definitely expected better. The number of things wrong definitely don't add up to the price. The first thing was one of the beds was made very suspicious and I pray that it had fresh sheets. 2 the fridge didn't get very cold on the highest setting. 3 we were staying 2 nights with one towel each . 4 Hardly any toilet paper on the roll and none on reserve . 5 The shower had mold . 6 When checking in the person didn't say anything information as to where my room was or important information just took my money and handed me the keys including a 100 deposit that I wasn't aware of. I'm quite sure I will not be back .
Do not stay here. My experience from start to finish was absolutely terrible. I arrived at 5 PM with my son after his basketball tournament, and we had to wait in the lobby for over an hour just to check in—despite only one family being ahead of us. The staff was arguing with them over a botched adjoining room reservation instead of resolving the issue professionally. Meanwhile, another family from our team had already checked in, only to have their room double-booked. As they were unpacking, other guests walked in using a key card. Totally unacceptable. When we finally got to our room, there were no towels or toiletries. I went to the front desk and was told they didn’t have any clean towels at the time. No one ever brought them later, and I had to go down again to follow up. The next morning, the breakfast area was a mess—no coffee, no plates, and it was downright filthy. To make matters worse, I noticed four separate pending charges for my one room. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told none were available. I left my contact information and was promised a callback that never came. Since April, I’ve called Hilton guest services five times trying to get a resolution, and the only response I’ve received is a generic email saying they’ve attempted to contact the hotel with no success. It’s now been months, and nothing has been resolved. I expected far better from a Hilton-branded property. This hotel failed on every level—poor service, uncleanliness, billing issues, and no accountability. I will never stay here again and strongly recommend others look elsewhere.
Here’s an honest review, as always. I’ll keep it short and straight to the point. I booked the hotel, and before heading over, I decided to check out the reviews (even though I’d stayed here before and loved it). Let me tell you, some of the reviews were pretty scary! But, I trusted my instincts and went ahead with my stay anyway. Room: The room was clean, fresh, and had a brand-new TV. Great lighting, fridge, and microwave – all the essentials. 5 stars. Location: Amazing location with plenty of dining options within walking distance. If you’re not feeling the hotel food, just step out for a change. 5 stars. Bar/Italian Steakhouse: The bar has a good vibe, complete with a heated covered patio and TVs. The bartender is friendly, and they offer basic drinks. Totally chill place to hang out. 5 stars. Now, the steakhouse – don’t expect a 5-star dining experience. The meals are overpriced, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend eating there. But if you’re just looking to grab a drink and relax, it’s perfect for that. Just a heads up – two beers set me back $17 (though that’s probably standard everywhere). If you’re looking to save, grab a six-pack and hang out on the patio. Also, its best not to order food in the hotel (Doordash or dash it yourself outside). They do have lots of snack you can pick up in the lounge and free water! Bed: Your bed likely won’t be made every day. Just make your own, and let's be real – you probably don’t get your sheets changed every night at home, right? I stayed for two nights with no issues. If you ask, they’ll probably make the bed, but otherwise, it’s on you. Parking: The parking lot is fine, but there are some reports that it could be sketchy. My advice: don’t leave anything valuable in your car if you’re concerned. Windows: Like most hotels, you can’t open the windows. But the air/heat system was new, and I had no issues with it getting too hot or cold. Winter Tip: If you visit during the winter, be aware that there might be a cold draft from the vent above your door. Keep the temperature up to stay cozy! Price: For what I paid, it was a great deal! Overall, if you keep these points in mind, I’m sure you’ll love your stay (and come back)!
