The Drury Inn & Suites Columbus Dublin consistently receives positive reviews, lauded for its friendly and accommodating staff, especially highlighted by individuals like Cecil and Tyrone who go above and beyond to provide excellent service. Guests appreciate the included breakfast and ‘kickback’ meals/drinks, as well as the comfortable rooms and clean amenities, including a well-maintained pool. While some reviewers note occasional maintenance issues or busy pool areas, the overall experience is considered highly positive due to the exceptional staff and value proposition.
Drury Inn always is a cut above the rest and this location is especially fantastic. I want to highlight Cecil and Tyrone; I was super exhausted after a long drive and they were so kind to me, I really genuinely felt like they cared about how I was doing and to have the best experience at this place possible. It really touched my heart and meant the world to me that these fellas would chat me up and help me de-stress from an intense journey. Of course the Kickback rules, please tip the staff as they work so hard keeping the place tidy, well stocked and well attended. I really like the brick wall in the room, it adds a nostalgic texture that I’ve appreciated. Stayed here two nights including a trip to the zoo (it’s rad seeing people at the kickback that also were at the zoo) and it was such a great time. Well appointed, just otherworldly staff who deserve to be proud of this welcoming atmosphere they maintain!
We stayed 4 nights at the Drury Inn & Suites in Dublin and had a great experience. The service was excellent from start to finish. Ebony at check-in was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome right away. Everyone we encountered during our stay was so accommodating and kind. The free breakfast was really good and super convenient. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and overall it was a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend! And we will definitely be back:)
My husband and I stayed for a wedding in the area. The room was a nice size, quiet and everything we needed. The first morning we saw our neighbors in the hall with a toddler. The father apologized for her rough night. We never heard the neighbors at all. Also my husband realized he had gotten something on his pants he was wearing to the wedding. We washed them at the hotel. I heard the dinners are great, but we had dinners out. Very pleased overall.
First time staying at a Drury & Cecil was wonderful. Room was very nice & spacious. Toilet sat low & could use upgraded for those with knee problems. Breakfast was great. Swimming pool nice & warm. Great hot tub. 5:30 kickback had good food and the free 3 drinks were a plus but that is all you are allowed. All staff members very friendly. Highly recommend
This is an older Drury, but decent. It could use a little sprucing up, but all in all it's clean. The staff is very nice and friendly. The buffet area is not the greatest layout, it's a bit chaotic when they are serving food cause all the lines converge and it becomes overwhelming. The food served was good. The pool area is nice and clean. The rooms are nice as well.
My partner and I came here for a relaxing weekend away from home. Which we often do at local hotels. I have to be honest, the staff was the absolute sweetest I’ve ever encountered. Our first night it was very busy with sports teams and yet every staff member was smiling, kind, the manager on duty was amazing- stepping in everywhere she was needed. She was checking in guests, bartending, cleaning the food area, checking food quality and smiling while doing it all. The hotel was clean, food was decent and pool area was well maintained. I hope this weekends staff between management and food service gets a bit of extra recognition because they were honestly so great.
Ebony was fantastic at check in! We brought the kids and came for the pool and hot tub. The kids LOVED the pool and hot tub!!!! It was so much fun for them to be swimming outside while it was snowing! Will definitely be back!!! A rare find for a good pool for the kids with a working hot tub!!!
This is the second Drury we have stayed in. We have had a great experience each time. Rooms are clean and updated. Showers have great water pressure and the shampoo, conditioner and soaps are so much nicer than other hotels. The free breakfast and kick off meals/drinks are a very nice added bonus!
Great hotel...a little bit older but updated in spots. The customer service is amazing! Lynne was the nicest person checking us in and Cecil was so friendly checking us out! When we needed extra pillows for the pull out couch they went above and beyond to get us some very prompt. The room and bathroom was clean. The ONLY complaint is get an upper floor room. It is not the hotel's fault but people start coming out the back door at 6am screaming and yelling and slamming the door. We were close to the pool and fitness center but it was closed for maintenance THANK GOODNESS! Because the back door slamming and yelling was enough. Great hotel and if we are ever back in that area we will stay there again just on an upper floor!
We had a great experience here for my kid's bday weekend. We arrived early Saturday, and were not only told we could check in early, but that we got a free room upgrade! Our room was huge, clean, and cozy. We had room 500 and it was mostly nice and quiet. Super comfortable king bed in one room and pull out couch in the other. There were a bunch of kids there for a hockey tournament and cheer competition, so the main floor and pool areas were chaotic at times, but we couldn't hear all the noise from our room. Most of them were gone by Sunday, so we were able to enjoy the pool and dining areas way more that evening. The breakfasts are good and dinners are decent...can't complain about two free meals a day! The pool and hot tub were kind of gross, but I'm assuming that's just because of the obnoxious amount of kids that were there at the beginning of our stay. Everyone working here is nice, it's clean/comfortable, and it's close to all the fun things to do in and around Columbus. We'll definitely stay here again! Also, I read other reviews about car break-ins and was kind of worried at first. I was able to park in front of the hotel and could clearly see my car from our room. The parking lot is well-lit, and the 3 days were were here, there was a security patrol car across the street at the Hyatt, which directly faces towards this hotel. It put my mind at ease.
