Staybridge Suites Columbus-Airport receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising the spacious rooms and helpful staff, particularly Paige at the front desk. However, numerous reports cite ongoing maintenance issues, including elevator outages, cleanliness concerns, and a lack of promised amenities like a shuttle service. I coach and was staying at this hotel with my athletes and other coaches, we had rented multiple rooms. The power went out and due to the multiple factors we elected to stay the night anyways. Clearly not the hotels fault. One member of our party had mobility issues so moving in the middle of the night with no electricity was as not the easiest. Then the next day after there was no sign of the power returning we elected to leave still understandable. I traveled with two other groups of people who rented rooms with us. They were FULLY refunded of either their points or money. I reached out to IHG multiple times about this and I have gotten nothing in response just customer service saying sorry. The situation was clearly not the hotel‘s fault however they did not check up on us or ask us any questions or provide us any type of assistance. I feel like the whole situation could’ve been handled better.

This was base camp for Sonic Temple 2026 in Columbus. We were lucky to receive a free room upgrade which offered plenty of space for two people! (We each had our own hotel room with a common area ?). Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a basketball court and nice outside seating area. My only slight criticism is the building is showing it's age, so some cosmetic maintenance would help it shine even more! We would stay here again!

No hot water for the first 24 hours that I was there. They made no attempt to provide other accommodations or compensation. I eventually had to drive 30 mins to a relative's to shower because I had plans later that day. Rooms are dingier than the pictures suggest, but serviceable. Internet is very slow. For some reason the hallways smelled really bad.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights for a mini staycation per my daughter’s birthday request. In my search for the right hotel for my family size, I found that Staybridge had the right accommodation for our wants/needs: a place to play, eat, sleep (it’s like a mini apartment). However, I was quite skeptical about making the reservations because of all the poor reviews, so I decided to view the hotel for myself before I decided to book our stay. I spoke to Paige and she gave us a tour of the hotel but couldn’t let us see a room because the rooms were all getting clean for the next bookings, however she said we could stop back at any time to see if a room was available to view, so I did. She wasn’t there but another employee was able to show us a suite. Both Paige and the young man were able to answer my questions and were pleasant in doing so. Paige also informed us that the hotel will be renovated later this year. So, I booked the 3-queen bed suite and requested the suite that I viewed. I wanted to stay on the first floor because I have young girls that love to flip plus the elevator was still down. When we arrived, we were checked in by the same young man that showed us the room before. When we entered the suite, it smelled fresh and appeared clean. However, after the first night I noticed that there were cobwebs in a few of the rooms including the living room area, the single bedroom shower has a slow drip, and we could hear the guest upstairs walking around in the early morning. I informed the front desk about the issues, and the housekeeper came down quickly to get the cobwebs and dirty towels and bring back fresh ones. The hotel really needs a DEEP cleaning and repairs. Also, the rooms didn't have a TV guide or information about the hotel, nearby restaurants or things around Columbus (considering that this is a hotel near the airport). As for the amenities, the pool was available but cold. Once you got in the pool and played around it was ok. The pool area needs a clock so we can know time and not have to get out and look at our phones (I actually left my phone in the room). The courtyard was nice to run around and to play basketball, they even have a firepit. The breakfast was ok, typical hotel breakfast. The food could have been hotter, and the sausage could have been cooked longer (I like brown sausage). Overall, we had a good mini vacation and will book again after the renovations! The photos show the suite before we checked out. Thank you Staybridge looking forward to future stays!

Great staff. Elevator was out for the whole stay. Side entrance didn’t function. Toilet broke, but staff fixed it quickly. It’s very run down and needs maintenance. Service is friendly and efficient.

Do not recommend. I use to stay at this hotel regularly (one week every month) and was placed on the third floor while the elevator has been out of service for three weeks, something the staff clearly knew but did not disclose at booking. They refused to help with my luggage, refused to move me to a lower floor, and refused a refund when I asked to leave and book another hotel. The elevator sign claims a technician was called, despite the elevator being down for weeks. As a loyal, repeat guest who previously recommended this hotel, I am now stuck here for a full week. Stay away.

Would not recommend this hotel. They lied about the elevator. Its currently out of order and always one day away from being repaired. Based on other reviews it seems to have been broken for a long time. They lied about their breakfast. Advertised as a full breakfast, all they offer is dry cereal. When asked they said management decided on no more hot items. Social hour claims to have light snacks and drinks. All they provide is beer. Rooms had cracks and visible mold in the bathroom.

Sam the desk attendant was no where to be found whenever we needed someone at the front desk. We would have to yell throughout the hotel until he showed up. Me and my crew could never get a hold of anyone. The rooms are out dated and need new appliances and remodeling. The doors look as if a dog was trapped in the room and scratched it up. Cobwebs hang from the ceiling. It smells like marijuana out in the parking lot. Also the parking lot lights have a strobe effect and you can barely see in the parking lot at night. The only good thing I can say is the breakfast was decent and I had no experience with bed bugs at this hotel. Avoid if you can find somewhere better to go.

The front staff were very nice and welcoming. We thought the breakfast was good but there were ants on the counter around the bagels etc. Our room was comfortable but you can tell there was significant water damage in the shower. The ceiling just looked like it was painted over but you could tell it was flaking really bad so that was concerning that it almost looked like a band-aid instead of actually fixing it. The parking lot is not safe at all at night. The lighting is really bad and a few of the lights were going on and off like you would see in a horror movie. Random people just sitting out in their cars smoking weed at all hours. We were leaving for an early flight on Sunday and at 3:45 in the morning we heard loud music right outside the room. There is just some guy blasting his music sitting there in his car. We were already up but felt bad for the other guests. We did mention to the front desk clerk as we were checking out. She did say that they have security that is sitting in the parking lot so we should have called. We should have but, what is funny is as we were pulling out, there is security sitting in their truck. This is happening in your parking lot you are supposedly watching yet you are just sitting there oblivious so I don't know what they would have actually done. The walls are pretty thin and we heard everything above us. The beds were very comfortable so that was a definite plus. The front desk clerk stated she was going to speak with the manager and email us but we are still waiting on a response.

I really want to s/o Paige at the front desk! She is absolutely fabulous at her job. Providing top tier customer service. I was so busy with work I didn’t get to enjoy their breakfast or the outdoor activity options, but everything looked lovely. The room was cozy.
