Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I ended up demanding a refund because the conditions were unacceptable. The first room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, the air conditioner didn't work, the elevator was out of service, and the deadbolt on the door was broken. The hallways were dark because many of the lights didn't work, and the entire building felt hot, musty, and smelled like old mold. When I asked for a different room, the employee showed me another room where the air conditioning didn't work and the bed hadn't even been properly made. The third room had working air conditioning, but the lights and TV didn't work, leaving my 6-year-old daughter and me sitting in a pitch-black room. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel. The property appears poorly maintained, unsafe, and neglected. I will never stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Avoid this place if you value cleanliness, comfort, or basic functionality.

Worst hotel experience of my life, and I’m not a picky traveler. Filthy, cockroaches everywhere. Sheets were stained. Multiple vehicles in parking lot sitting with flat tires. Sketchy people milling around outside. There was commotion in the hallway ALL night, doors slamming constantly. Massive leak in hallway, buckets of water everywhere. I was here during weekend of Luke combs, crew game, nike cup so this was a last option when nowhere else had rooms. I should have just slept in my car. Awful experience, this place needs to be condemned.

This place is old and very run down. Because of the condition of the place I would not eat, use the gym or definitely not use the spa. I did check for bedbugs and didn't see anything however I found 2 live roaches running around the bathroom the next morning. Had I found them when we checked in I would have been out of there. Location is noisy and out of the way. Please don't stay here as there are much better options. We wanted to be close to Otterbein University.

I got in late, heard the toilet running all night so i finally got up and tried to fix it myself and see there’s literally just a whole outfit stuffed inside the back. The whole bathroom was a mess. I requested a 50% discount at least to the manager, he first said yes he’ll take care of anything I need & that he’s just on a meeting if I can wait 15 mins. So I waited more than 15 minutes, he never comes out - he ends up just telling his employee he can give %10 off. I asked for the manager again bc he just said he could give me 50%, made me wait 20 mins & he came out and literally said he couldn’t give me any discount because I booked through a third party and just to email him for discount on the next room I book. I said you just told your employee he could give me 10% off so how can you not give anything now? He started get frustrated and rude talking about how he couldn’t give anymore than 10%. Ok so now you can give me 10% off again after saying you can’t do anything bc of the 3rd party? ? and you literally agreed to 50% off when I first spoke? - I ended up getting no discount- just a card with his email that I know won’t do any good messaging. He said he had to go back to the meeting and that he would message the third party for the discount (again back to being able to give me a discount after he said he couldn’t) - I knew he wouldn’t do that and he didn’t. Bad experience. :/

Location was great, but that’s where it ends. I didn’t read the reviews, and I usually do and learned my lesson this time. They charged me for the room 4 hours before I arrived. Once I got there, I checked the room immediately because you have a very short time after check in to get a refund. The room seemed ok for the price I was paying. Once in the room fully, I opened the mini fridge and it was cracked on the inside, smelled of death and a cockroach crawled out. I seriously should have left then, but I was exhausted and just asked for another room instead. It was ok, but literally everything in this hotel is done “just enough” to say it was done. Paint all over the floors, crap job on the caulk in the bathroom area, mirror hug too high that my 5’2” daughter had to stand on her toes to see in it, doors scratched horribly, stains all over walls and ceilings, dead bugs everywhere, smells of all kinds from old furniture and curtains. There was even a large gap at the bottom of my door and I had to put a towel down there so the overwhelming smell of weed and cigarette smoke didn’t pour into our room. If you are desperate and no other location has a room, then I MIGHT stay here again. But then again I would probably just drive the 5 1/2 hours back to my house and call it a day too.

When booking a hotel, make sure to listen to the reviews on this place! Number one turn off is the roaches! Many things were stained and or broken in the building itself. Our room specifically wasn’t the worst, however for $400 I’d expect better. The water pressure in the shower was awful and took literally a half hour to get somewhat warm. Music blasting at all hours. Strong smell of weed through the entire hotel. Beds were uncomfortable and clearly old. They do have a breakfast included, but again, roaches. Me personally I’m not eating from a place where any bugs could get on my food. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the private jacuzzi we had booked, but that alone didn’t make up for the money we should have spend somewhere else. I’m not usually one to write reviews complaining, but this place clearly needs one.

Location=ok. The rest of the hotel not at all. Staff is ok, if you can get them. Rooms are "updated" if you want to call it that. Dirty, outdated, TV channels are non existent. Just stayed for work the week of 9/30/25. Couldn't even get local channels, hallways are dirty, stink, dingy, stained carpeteverywhere. Parking lot is disgusting, glass everywhere. Not well lit, and seem very shady. Constant traffic, doors slamming, radios, people yelling all hours of the night. Do yourself a big favor, DO NOT stay here! I was greeted to this the last morning there after getting out of the shower, COCKROACHES!

Would not recommend! We decided short notice to stay for our son's baseball game, so everything around was booked. BAD DECISION! There was a group of people outside our window playing LOUD Spanish music ALL night long and it's 8:00a.m and they are still playing the music out of their cars. The music was so loud that we could not hear our TV!!!!!!! ZERO sleep and the rooms have a funky smell.

This hotel is in a great location and was close to where my son played basketball, which is why we stayed here. But other than the locaton it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Not clean at all, holes in the walls, no artwork on the walls allowed you to see the stains running down the walls. There were huge holes in the back of the backroom doors and showers were not clean. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned. The washer and dryer were used the entire time we were there by Road Crew Construction workers. They also thought 11 p.m. was a great time to vacuum the hallways. Breakfast was very plain with little variety. BOOK ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

BLUF: Despite the valiant efforts of the day-to-day cleaning staff, this hotel is old, smelly, and broken-down. Don’t stay here. Details: I spent one fitful night here while tending to a relative at Saint Ann’s Hospital. It is the only walkable hotel from the hospital. It was cheap, under $100/night. It is apparently also popular: when I checked in, the clerk at the front desk was on the phone telling a potential guest that they were booked solid for the weekend. While I’m giving the short list of pros, let me also add that the sheets were clean, the bed was well made, the towels were clean and creatively folded, and the coffee basket stocked. At the same time, this hotel still provided small vials of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouthwash, and two bars of soap. These were neatly arranged; testimony to the cleaning staff’s commitment to play a catchy tune on the deck of this obviously sinking ship. What they really spoke to, I think, was ownership’s decision in the distant past not to invest anything in this hotel—even in the wall-mounted soap and shampoo dispensers that so many chains have added to reduce supply costs. Now let’s get to the problems. The hotel smells bad. Someone was smoking weed in another room on the way to my room. My room (137) smells bad. The paint is peeling. The chest drawer handles are broken. The sheets and blankets are thin. Ants are crawling on the nightstand. The bathroom door doesn’t shut. All the lightbulbs are the drabbest sickening yellow compact fluorescent. Where the paint is not peeling, the previous painters did not use tape, so every outlet and fixture has paint on it; the sink has paint drops on it. The AC in the gym doesn’t work. The treadmill in the gym doesn’t work (I went for a run outside). There are no towels in the towel cabinet of the gym (Am I the only one who uses hotel gyms?!). The whole experience was like a hotel stay crafted by a knowledgeable enemy bent on making me miserable.
