Home2 Suites by Hilton Columbus Dublin offers a clean and spacious setting, particularly appreciated by travelers and families. While praised for its convenience, modern amenities, and friendly staff, some guests have reported issues with breakfast quality, elevator noise, and occasional maintenance needs. Recent reviews highlight its value, especially for those traveling with pets or seeking ease of access.
Came into town for a work trip and could not have picked a better spot to be. Here you are five minutes from Bridge Park, on a quiet street right off the freeway. King suite is very spacious; In room amenities make it easy for you to bring food with you if you are staying in town longer. Very friendly staff, clean place. Free breakfast included 6-9AM.
Be very careful when booking here. If you use any third party platform check the charges carefully. This hotel charged me again for the same stay I already booked and paid for. Then a refund takes 7-10 days. I looked at reviews and see I’m not the only one this has happened to. When I left I have a receipt for zero balance and yet my bank has a charge for the full amount charged to me for a second time. I should not have my funds held when this is clearly the hotels fault. They took ownership of the mistake and yet put the delays for the charge to be refunded to the bank. That’s unacceptable and they need to do a better job at looking into who PAID FULL IN ADVANCE instead of leaving it to customers to double check their financial records. I should not have to babysit such a simple transaction. If I didn’t catch this I’m confident they would have never reached out.
It was a great place to stay as a family. Clean rooms, wonderful furniture, everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was up to hotel standards.. The pool was a bit cold, FYI, but it wasn't busy. The only problem was the weird noises in the elevators.. If you have a fear of elevators, get your room on the first floor. Trust me.
Hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. However, the breakfast left much to be desired! Definitely need to revamp the breakfast bar, when staying at hotels in this price range, I found the breakfast to be extremely disappointing. Yogurt was out, when we went down at 0830 there was no hot food available, all containers were empty. When the food was finally brought out the eggs were extremely overcooked and the sausage was the same (couldn't cut it). Will go to another hotel in the area next time I am visiting as their breakfast was fresh, plentiful and there were plenty of options.
Went to Nuvia dental for surgery, this is where they recommended we stay the night. They offer Nuvia patients a reduced rate to stay. My wife and my sister thought it was very nice. Me the guy who had surgery didn't get to enjoy it much.
Honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Ohio! While the wheelchair accessible rooms (roll in shower) are on the 4th floor and you can reach them by elevator, I get motion sickness from elevators and walk with a cane so we stayed on the 1st floor. The rooms are so clean and the big fridge and freezer combo is great if you meal prep and travel with food (food allergies yay!). I loved having the privacy curtain for sharing the room with other family members. The sofa bed was surprisingly really comfy! Better than the usual Mariott ones we've slept on. The non-accessible rooms don't have a roll in shower for wheelchairs, but they do have awesome shower grab bars inside the shower and on the sliding glass door for the shower. I couldn't believe even the standard rooms had them! The grab bars worked great for me and I'm disabled with vertigo and fatigue. The gentleman at the front desk is really nice and friendly too. Overall, a great experience and hotel room! I'd totally recommend it and I'd stay here again in the future.
We stayed for just one night in October. The room was spacious and clean. I loved the plentiful lighting and electrical outlets. The nesting nightstands and desk are a great idea. Lots of storage space. The breakfast was fresh and well stocked. This was my first time staying at a Home2Suites. If they are all like this one, I will be staying at them more often.
Musty smell in room upon arrival. Not up to Hilton standards. Ottoman in room extremely worn. Lightbulb in bedside table burnt out. Box springs cover nasty and falling apart. Desperately needs refresh in rooms. Would not recommend and wouldn't stay here again. Very disappointed in this Hilton property. The 5-star reviews are baffling. Staff very nice, but doesn't make up for poor condition of room.
Hotel felt new and clean. Pool was swimable and saline. Staff was friendly and helpful. We booked first floor and non roadside. We got 4th floor facing road. Ypu could hear road clearly through room, luckily we had sound machine for our little. And walls must be thin, we had someone knocking, it was 8pm, and we were not that loud but did travel with toddler. The rooms are nice how big and open with large fridge, sink, microwave, dishes, and utensils. Breakfast was one star. It was never stocked up. Oftentimes there was empty slots, yogurt machine didn't work. Ended up having to get own breakfast.
Rooms and hotel location are just fine. Didn’t have time the first morning for the continental breakfast but the second morning was a little underwhelming. The area is very small and you can tell they aren’t prepared for more than 10-15 people. Everything was low or out. It was only 8am and is tough when you plan that for family breakfast. The employee was working very hard and doing a great job trying to keep up, it just isn’t designed that way. Maybe because it is a homewood they figure less people will take advantage of breakfast.
