My husband and I went to a concert and planned on staying here overnight after getting in late. I called ahead to the front desk to ensure that checking in after 11pm or midnight would be okay without cancellation. I was told since they had someone at the desk 24/7 there shouldn’t be an issue. We arrived to check in a few minutes after midnight. It was clear we walked in on other unhappy guests as reservations were mixed up and card readers were not working. We gave the manager our name and drivers license to check in. After 10+ minutes of watching him poke around on the computer, we asked what the issue was. He stammered saying he cancelled our reservation and was trying to get us another room. He kept saying we booked with a third party (we went directly through the best western website) and he needed more credentials to reserve another room. He kept making excuses and made us stand in the lobby with our luggage and food for over 30 minutes saying how he would work with us to get another room just give him more time. It was clear he was not competent and more time would not have made a difference, forcing us to drive 3 hours home, arriving at close to 4am. Becasue of the concert, this hotel and likely every other one around was booked solid. Very unprofessional, and very disappointed after an otherwise wonderful day.

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel. We stopped our drive around 1 am and had lovely customer service from Q on night duty. She took care of us when several other hotels were not accommodating, and she went above and beyond to help us with our medical cooler situation as well. The rooms were VERY clean, I mean white glove clean and you could have eaten off the shower. The linens were also nice and clean and fragrance free which I’m very sensitive to. All around a wonderful experience and if we pass through again I would 100% stay here. If all best westerns are like this then I am a newly converted customer!

The Best Western in Hilliard is a place u want to stay at! The lobby is welcoming with high ceilings, an ornamental fireplace surrounded with a cozy seating area. To one side is the breakfast area with ample seating. The staff from the manager to the housekeeping to the breakfast staff.. are uniformly obliging and go above and beyond. There's coffee to be had at any time of the day or night... A hotel marketplace well stocked with snacks, drinks and various sundries. The prices of said items are amazingly reasonable. There's an indoor pool, self service, laundry facilities and a state of the at gym. The rooms are immaculately clean and well appointed. Dark wood furniture is offset by cream walls and a pleasing pale green.. the beds afford one a very comfortable night's rest. Housekeeping is provided daily. Rooms come with bed, night stand s, desk, desk chair, pull out couch and coffee table.. mini fridge and microwave in all rooms.. A full breakfast is provided daily... T there's a selection of eggs, breakfast, meat, variety of bagels) toast bread, a yogurt dispenser, waffle maker, fresh fruit, oatmeal and cereal s. Everything is fresh and pleasing to the palate. At this time, Best Western is offering a$50 gift certificate for every 3 days that u book !! I give this place 5 stars!!

It was appropriate. It was clean, stocked, and made. The pool area looked and smelled clean. My son enjoyed the pool. 3-4ft depth.

Room was clean and the guy at the front desk was really polite and friendly. Haven't tried breakfast yet but the dining area looked clean and inviting.

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond. The breakfast is varied, nutritious and fresh. They even have grab and go options. I had booked the wrong dates and they worked to be assured I wouldn’t be charged for the mistake. This is our go-to hotel in Hilliard.

It’s an older place but has been updated very nicely. Clean pool, clean rooms. Beds and pillows are so-so as far as comfort. Simple magnet system for privacy or “restore the room”. Only down side is they don’t vacuum floors, it’s just take out trash and replace towels/toiletries as they see needed. Hot breakfast, plenty of variety for kids/adults. Would def stay here again.

Room had an odor to it. The staff never made up are room after our 1st night, I had to go to the desk and get fresh towels. The person at the desk stated I needed to request to have the room made up, however, there are no signs that indicate such a policy, unlike other hotels. The door in the room has magnets to place in the outside of the door indicating if you want the room made up or not. For a hotel with a smoke free policy, there was a room on the 2nd floor next to the elevator that was constantly smoking it up, and it wasn't cigarettes. The breakfast in the morning was very good with many selections and the area was very clean.

Such a warm and welcoming hotel — this is my second time staying here! The front desk staff are always super friendly, and even the other guests I’ve met have been really kind. The room facilities are pretty new for this price range, and everything has been clean and comfortable. Even though this is officially a 2-star hotel, I honestly think it meets the standards of most 3-star hotels. I’d definitely come back again if I’m ever in the area!
