We booked this hotel last minute, but it’s been one of the better hotel experiences that I have had. Easily the best Hampton Inn. All of the staff who we encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even just hanging out in the lounge area, when no hotel guests were visibly around, they were very pleasant with each other. I include this because I think it speaks to the authenticity of their demeanor. We didn’t use the pool or gym, but the room was nice, bathrooms were nicely updated whenever the hotel did their last remodel. I would easily stay here again.

Located conveniently to everything & easy access. Staff was very friendly but I did have to ask for housekeeping service twice on the same day (13 hours apart). The room had the best air conditioning I have ever experienced & it was whisper quiet. But the room door of your king bed room seemed like the installation was unfinished somehow- there was 1.5" gap open at the bottom of the door. At night the hallway lights completely under it. That didn't present a security concern for us but if we can hear every word being spoken in the hallway then anyone in that hallway can hear whatever conversation you're having on the phone, and worse- they can hear everything that you're doing in that room. That presents a large concern to the lack of privacy. This is sole reason for 2 stars. Also- USB charging ports didn't work at all but we were prepared with outlet adapter.

The headboard of the bed was greasy with handprints, clearly not cleaned between guests. The chair near the elevator was visibly stained, the button to the elevator did not work very well. The gym is not accessible by keycard which meant you had to have the phone of the person who made the reservation to use it. The snacks area was understocked and no vending machines are available here. There is also no on site laundry. There is a free to use business center that was quiet and tidy, I really enjoyed this amenity.

Super speedy check in and check oit as a Hilton Honors member. The free breakfast is outstanding! There are multiple hot and cold food options and various beverages as well. Very comfortable room, mattress, pillows, and clean room and bathroom. The A/C was great in the room however it was not working in the fitness center which had box fans. If we need to stay overnight for OSU events, we will definitley stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay. Upon arrival the sweet lady asked what brought us to the area. I shared with her my mom had to see her Oncologist early in the morning and possibly have more testing done again. (We live almost 2hrs away)…She looked at our reservation and quickly changed it to a medical reason and saved us money. We’re so grateful. When you have a loved one fighting cancer it can become extremely difficult, financially and emotionally. This means a lot to us. The kind gentleman over the continental breakfast was so very nice, and helpful as well. The only thing I wish they had would’ve been a relaxing Hot Tub.

The best part of this hotel was the check-in. Mo is probably the best hotel desk clerk we have ever had. She was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. She confirmed I was a Hilton Honors customer. She even saw and verified my request for room location in a quiet area of the hotel. Couldn't ask for better service. The hotel was very nice and well-kept. Centrally located to stores and restaurants. The room was comfortable except for the bathroom vent which is loud (no on/off switch) unless you close the door. The breakfast buffet was clean and also well-kept. We only wish we could have stayed more than one night.

We went down for the OSU 4 Miler and being so close to campus and only a short drive off 315 made life so easy! The room was lovely with a view of the Olentangy River. My daughter loved the pool! It was close to restaurants so we could walk to dinner.

WONDERFUL STAY ! My experience started at check in with Mo. I could tell that she was very busy. But when it came time for me, she greeted me cheerfully with a smile. She was so professional, personable, pleasant, and helpful. I mentioned some of the places I was in town to see. Immediately she had printouts of directions on how to get to the Blue Jackets game etc. I was so impressed and felt so welcome. The room was fantastic. Very clean, spacious. Nice furniture and decor. Very nice glass walk in shower. The whole property was well maintained and very clean. This is my new " go to place" when in Columbus !

Clean rooms and hotel. Pretty big for a hampton. My sheets smelled nice and were softer than usual hotels. Pillows were clean as well.

My room is gorgeous and very modern with a black & gray theme....classy, if you will. The room is also very clean and smells good, unlike some other rooms at hotels that smell stale. The reception area and staff are also very welcoming & friendly. I don't eat breakfast, so I can't attest for the quality but given everything else, it's unlikely that I'd be disappointed. The only con that I would give is the location, and that's because not a lot of food choices are within a close walking distance. You do have a few but it's very limited. Overall, this is a very nice hotel and I'd definitely stay here again. (Note: HHonors Gold Status member)
