The Embassy Suites Columbus - Dublin generally receives positive feedback, particularly regarding staff friendliness and breakfast offerings. However, recent reviews highlight concerns about noise levels, room cleanliness issues, and inconsistencies in service. While some guests appreciate the spacious rooms and amenities, others have experienced problems with maintenance, room conditions, and unexpected disruptions.
I visited this Embassy Suites for a conference today. During our morning session, the power went out. It was a wide area issue. The hotel staff was on it quickly. They converted their atrium table seating area into a makeshift conference space for our 119 attendees. They even found a battery-powered speaker for us to use. The power came back on at 11:30 and by 12:30 our hot lunch was ready to serve. Great job!
Rooms face the interior with a window into the open halls. There were several school groups that showed up who thought it was hilarious to run down the hallways and being loud. The atrium center echoed a bit, further magnifying the noise. Booked 2 rooms and called to get assigned, interconnected rooms for my family visit weeks prior to arrival. When we arrived, I got there before my sister's family and checked in as planned. When she arrived 2 hrs later, they had given her room to one of the school groups that arrived. We ended up on far apart floors and the elevators were slow, so because of lack of convenience, we didn't get to spend as much time altogether like we had planned. Our room had a few issues - the ac didn't work consistently and maintenance had to be called. The bar area sink faucet sprayed water everywhere. The bar to the towel rack in the bathroom kept falling. The tub and tile surround were gross. The tub was peeling, the tile was moldy, it was gross.
As like other things these days Embassy Suites has lost the quality high standard it once had for hotel stays....not just one particular one but I have stayed at about 10 different ones across the country and they have all declined from what they used to be...Right now I am in Dublin, Ohio....I just killed some flying insect and a few ants....I dont want to move rooms because it will be the same or worse. And look at these curtains ...somebody's dog or kid(s) had to do this but the staff apparently has no care because it hasn't been replaced and this didn't happen 10minutes ago.
Great staff, easy check in, great restaurant on site, and beautiful hotel. The only downside was that it was too noisy there because of families staying there for a gymnastics competition. Most of the parents let their children run around the hotel, play in the hallways late into the evening, and were not considerate of any of the other guests there that were not in their group.
This is a great place to stay and enjoy your time. The food was good and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The front desk had friendly staff. Will come back for a place of comfort.
I booked a suite expecting a comfortable, relaxing stay after a long day at the State House, and unfortunately it was the opposite experience. The room had a musty smell as soon as I walked in. The atrium located just outside of the rooms causes everything to echo from below. There were children running around and yelling until 10:30 at night, and I could hear constant clanging noises throughout the night, possibly from the elevator or nearby mechanical equipment. The bedding and sheets were uncomfortable, and the room did not have a smart TV, which feels like a basic standard for hotels at this point. Overall, this was not a restful or pleasant stay, and I won’t be returning.
Very nice place to stay. Quiet, clean and has a great bar. The morning breakfast with the eggs to order is the best. We would definitely return while in Columbus Ohio.
The check in staff was very welcoming and super friendly. Parking was easy and hotel seemed well maintained. Slept well for not being in my own bed. Room had plenty of space.
I enjoy this hotel, the breakfast buffet and the happy hour drink specials are what take this place over the top. The rooms are nice and spacious, will definitely be returning.
Went to this very elegant and stylish 8-floor hotel on Monday (1/5/26), and the minute we were in, I could tell this was going to be excellent. Elevators work exactly as they should, both going up and down. We got checked in to our room on the second floor, and there was an awesome sofa and an incredibly clean bedroom with two neatly cleaned beds. Our room was super-awesome and at the same time, clean. Plus this super-huge TV made the room even more perfect, especially to watch my favorite shows. And the shower. That shower was marvelous and very super nice, and it had all 3 shampoos for me to use. The excellent touch was the soap. When you add all these beautiful things together, they make our stay more loving, perfect, and above all, comfortable. Then, on Tuesday morning (1/6/26), we checked out the breakfast suite downstairs on the 1st floor. It had every wonderful breakfast food that we could eat. Had a lot of everything: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, juice. When I was confused about where the cream cheese and syrup was, one of the breakfast staff was incredibly helpful. Appreciation and many thanks for the whole staff for pointing me in the right direction for where the syrup and cream cheese was in the breakfast suite and many thanks for the entire staff for this wonderful beautiful five-star stay at Embassy Suites Columbus Dublin!
