Markus was one of the best Employees and truly made my experience! I was in a need of a printer and he helped me print my needed piece of paper! They fully embody customer service and I am all for it!

We are repeat customers and have always had great experiences with this hotel. When our daughter’s volleyball tournament was affected by severe weather, the staff went above and beyond by allowing us to cancel our reservation even though we were past the cancellation deadline. The communication was proactive, kind, and professional, which made a stressful situation so much easier. This level of flexibility and customer service is exactly why we continue to come back and will absolutely stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

We had to stay at the Sonesta recently for our kids volleyball tournament. I don’t post on Google too often, but I do want to say that the rooms were very dirty. When you look around the base of the bed, there was about an inch wide layer of dust and behind the nightstand between the beds had to be about two years of dust buildup. I dropped something behind it and had to reach down there and consider just leaving it. Was also very congested through the night, which I believe the lack of cleanliness attributed to that. Outside of that I felt like the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, but would not stay there again if I had the option based off the cleanliness of the room.

We checked in and Lilly was so kind and helpful - she asked what we were in town for and when we mentioned it was for a birthday, she was quick to make our stay extra special! When we got to our room, our comforter did have a small stain but we called down to the front desk and it was quickly changed. Thank you to Lilly for going above and beyond!!

Absolutely loved my stay here! I arrived a few minutes before the kitchen closed and Christian at the bar accommodated me with a warm smile and great hospitality. He asked the chef Paul if they were able to keep the kitchen open a little longer so that I was able to get food and then allowed me to eat although they were closing. I thoroughly appreciated Christian’s hospitality. I can’t wait to revisit this hotel.

If you’re looking for a hotel in this area look no further. Amazing place. Clean service is nice and everything you can ever want in a hotel. Brian at the check in desk was very helpful in whatever we needed. I was so hesitant on Getting any place because of the reviews so I just went with this one because I was sick of looking but boy was I ever happy that I found it. Going forward if I ever get a chance to go to Columbus again this will be my go-to and it should definitely be yours.

Our stay at the Sonesta Columbus Downtown Hotel was absolutely wonderful. We are from Cincinnati and came here for business. We stayed in one of the loft rooms, and it truly felt like staying in a modern city loft—spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were amazing, and everything was spotless. The whole environment felt clean, welcoming, and peaceful. The hospitality was outstanding. Brian Dickens and his team went above and beyond with customer service—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Vincente was just as fantastic, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We had a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this hotel!

I was surprised how nice this hotel is. Sonesta isn't a brand I usually preference, but this was chosen by my employer. The room was very clean and modern. Everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were awesome. So many hotels have old flat pillows that you need 5-6 of just to equal one but at this hotel it was a normal good pillow. Slept very well and comfortable. It is obvious the hotel is under good management.

Service is on point. The breakfasts were so good. I tried a variety and each was fantastic. Front desk helpful and genuine. We were upgraded and loved the size of the room. Unfortunately it could have used a bit more furniture and esthetic. It felt like they put the regular room furniture in and didn’t round it out. The tub while wonderfully large but awkward. It felt dangerous to get in and out of. The bed was great. Inexpensive daily in/out parking behind the hotel. They was great. TVs aren’t smart TV but full cable. Nicely located. Definitely visit the steak house next door for an experience.

The room was beautiful, loved that it had a safe in the room. The beds were comfortable. There are plenty of charging ports for multiple devices. A desk to work at if you're here for school or business. It's conveniently next to The Columbus Convention Center, Nationwide Arena, and many places to eat within walking distance. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
