We had an awful experience. Our room was booked for 3 people and they only provided us with towels/wash clothes for 2 people. I asked for more on two separate occasions and was told that they were "sold out". The pull out soda bed was disgusting and not able to be slept on. The A/C was not working in our living room and it was 90°F outside. With that being said we couldn't even go to the lobby to cool off because the A/C was broken down there too. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall as well as the little mirror in the bathroom. The front desk employee was very rude and did not want to do his job. The trash was built up everywhere around the hotel and in the hallways. I would never stay here again or recommend anyone else too.

If there were an option to give less than zero stars, I absolutely would. We stayed at this hotel from April 25–27, 2026 for a family wedding where this property was designated as the host hotel. Despite reservations being made months in advance, some family members were turned away while others had to find rooms elsewhere. From the moment we arrived, the experience was a disaster. The front desk was unattended with a lobby full of waiting guests, elevators were broken or unreliable, and staff openly stated the elevator “does not stop on the 3rd floor,” where our rooms were located. The room conditions were disgusting and posed serious health concerns: * Mold and mildew in the bathroom and shower * Hair, grime, and residue in the shower * Stained bedding, towels, carpets, and furniture * Empty toiletry dispensers * Coffee maker with mold/sediment buildup * Lifted and puckered hallway rugs creating trip hazards We were moved to another room only to find similar conditions. Because the hotel was sold out, we had no choice but to stay. We slept on top of the bedding using our own blanket because the linens appeared unclean. On our last morning, someone believed to be housekeeping opened our room door at approximately 7:30 AM without knocking, despite checkout not being until 11:00 AM. Completely unacceptable. This hotel is marketed as an upscale property, but what we experienced was unsanitary, unsafe, severely understaffed, and completely misrepresented online. For the amount paid, this was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had. I would never stay here again and would strongly caution others before booking this property

This was an absolutely awful stay & it was highly recommended. I asked for extra towels none were made available apparently laundry issues, so I ended up buying my own. I was not told about the hot tub until after the room was paid for, for 2 nights, it only had 1 working elevator & it overheated so it was out of commission for awhile, I had to walk up to the 4th floor & I have knee replacements. The sofa bed had stains on it, there was a dead fly on the stand by the door. I have pictures of the stained sofa bed & of the dead fly. I didn’t use the pool it didn’t look clean & again short on towels. In conclusion with all of these things happening I think that a full refund should be refunded, if I have to contact corporate I will do just that so please make it right!! Thank you.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff. I stayed over this weekend for a comedy show that was canceled, but the service I received still made for a satisfying weekend away. Saturday evening, I was welcomed into the hotel by Kema, who did a fantastic job providing a courteous, hospitable check-in, and getting me up to speed on the current facilities and amenities the hotel was offering. I went to the hotel bar a short while after check-in, and the bartender was conversing with patrons while taking orders across the counter, fostering a light-hearted, energetic and entertaining atmosphere. I got my drinks served just as fast as I could order them, which was impressive. The next day, I stopped by the desk to ask for some extra soap and a toothbrush, a request that Kema was happy to oblige. Inevitably this morning I had to check out, but Rhea made that as pleasant and easy as it could be! Now, all of that having been said… Perfection is next-to-impossible to attain in the service industry, and there is almost always room for improvement wherever you go. Here are some of the shortcomings I found during my stay: Likely due to the large group of kids in the hotel for an event, the elevator overheated from excessive use and I had to take the stairs after I checked in; however, this was promptly resolved. There were a few minor issues with the room—a small dent in the mini fridge, a dent in the top right of the bathroom door, and when the shower faucet was on, some of the water would spray out of the back of the showerhead. There was also a black spot on the bathroom wall behind the adjustable mirror, but these are all minor things that did not significantly impact my experience. The most important thing was the bed was clean, the room was spacious, thermostat worked without issues and the hotel had all the amenities I’ve come to appreciate. Also, between the three staff members I’d encountered (Kema, the bartender, and Rhea), this hotel is represented remarkably, and I’ll be sure to stay here anytime I’m in the Columbus area!

The lobby and outside of the hotel looked amazing, which made us feel confident about our stay. Unfortunately, the room was a completely different experience. After driving 10 hours, we walked into a room that was 63 degrees and it took hours to warm up. The furniture was stained — even the lamp shades and it didn’t appear that the room had been properly dusted. There was old tape and balloon debris stuck to the wood frame and ceiling, and the wallpaper was peeling back exposing what looked like black mold. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool, and it was closed. This was not disclosed anywhere on the website at the time of booking, which was very disappointing. At checkout, I was told to email photos and that I would receive a refund. I have yet to receive a response. Very disappointed, especially after such a long drive. I truly expected better based on the appearance of the property and the pricing.

The location is great, and so is the staff. We had a minor issue with our reservation, and the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. We have stayed here multiple times, and will return in the future. The rooms show their age a bit, but ours was clean and comfortable. Good water pressure, clean bathroom, and the soap smells great if that matters to you.

Should have looked at reviews before booking… Hotel needs to be updated. Rooms are not clean, dust or dirt in different places like windows, corners, locks. The front desk staff (who doesn’t wear uniform or name tag) gave me literally no information on the hotel (wifi? Breakfast? Dinner? Bar?) just ran my card and said “here’s your room”. The pool/hot tub is closed FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. It’s labeled with a date from almost 3 MONTHS AGO. CLOSED FROM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. To be closed by the heath department AND be from that long ago is a badge of disgrace. It is insane the level of germs and bacteria that must have been growing in the pool/hot tub, I would be worried about the restaurant. After seeing that and staying in these old outdated and dirty rooms, broken keycard lock I will not be back and I would recommend others to stay away. Staff will reply to this with a generic “your concerns are heard and we will strive to be better” but seeing that copy and paste message shows me this place will be bought by a different company or just closed soon. It is obvious staff or management does not care. I will be reaching out to corporate because this level of service is unacceptable for the price paid.Glad I stayed for just 1 night. $300 spent is fine by me to learn the lesson to never come here again.

The staff is great. There is no free breakfast, but there plenty of shopping around. Plenty of food nearby, plus there's a bar off the lobby if you're into that! The mirror in the bathroom in our room had a Bluetooth speaker that I connected my phone to, it's incredible.

First, this is not our first stay at this hotel, so clearly, we've had good experiences here. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and accommodating. Beds are comfortable. We had a plumming issue our first night (not from our "doing") reported it to the front desk. They attempted to "fix" it, but problem persisted. Front desk switched rooms for us. The second room we were in had a TV going out. We weren't there to watch TV, so we just dealt with it. Bar downstairs, by no fault of their own, had a gas leak so food menu options were limited. No biggie. The bartender, Armando?!? FANTASTIC! Made very well crafted drinks. He was polite and friendly and I would highly recommend if you are staying there, pop in and say "hi" he also offers some very tasty non alcoholic drinks as well. We will be staying again.

I had a 5 night stay at this Cambria in October 2025. ROOMS: The room was clean, but house keeping is by request only. This info was texted to me automatically upon check in. Kind of 50/50 on that. Didn't really need the housekeeping... There were two TVs and two TV remotes but only one remote worked. There was what appeared to be mold on the back side of the bathroom door where wet towels hang. Needless to say I didnt hang my towels there. Mirror had a Bluetooth speaker built it. Despite the possible mold, the rooms were good. SERVICE: Housekeeping is by request only. For me that was fine but I know that others would prefer not to have to request that. Our toilet paper was almost out when we got there and there was only enough coffee pods for 1 day. The staff was friendly when interacting. LOCATION: Heading into the hotel one might around 10PM I heard gunshots and observed law enforcement responding just a few blocks away. So... That was interesting. Overall, the nearby restaurants and stores were great - it just obviously wasnt the best location in Columbus. Can't technically fault the hotel for that. Overall it was a good stay but a few small things ding my opinion of the place as a whole.
