I have stayed in many hotels over the years, and I have never experienced anything as shocking, disrespectful, and unprofessional as what happened during my stay. My party was approved for a late checkout of 1:00 PM. This was confirmed with the hotel and, according to a member of the housekeeping staff, it was clearly noted on the housekeeping board. Despite this, a housekeeping supervisor identified to me as Danny approached our room and, without knocking, forcefully opened the door. The door flew open so hard that it startled both of us and could have easily struck someone standing nearby. The first thing we heard was a loud voice demanding to know what time we were leaving and when we were checking out. There was no knock, no announcement, no respect for our privacy, and no regard for guest safety. We were shocked and disturbed. For a moment, it genuinely sounded as if someone had kicked the door in. When my companion informed him that we had been granted a late checkout, his demeanor changed immediately. He left, and when I attempted to address the situation in person, he could not be found. The front desk informed us that multiple guests have complained about this individual, yet no action has apparently been taken. We were later told he had left the property instead of speaking with us directly. What is even more concerning is that a staff member stated that he was aware of our late checkout and should have known we were authorized to remain in the room. If that is true, then this was not a misunderstanding. It was an intentional disregard for a guest’s privacy and hotel policy. As a paying guest, I expect basic professionalism, respect, and security. No guest should have to worry about a supervisor entering their room without knocking, especially when they have an approved late checkout. This incident left me feeling violated, disrespected, and completely unwelcome. I strongly urge hotel management and corporate leadership to conduct a thorough investigation. Do not limit your inquiry to management. Speak with front desk staff and housekeeping employees who witness these interactions firsthand. If multiple guests have complained, then this is not an isolated incident. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. What happened was unacceptable, and no guest should ever be treated this way.
I’ve been a member of Hilton for years and I have never experienced something like this out of all Hiltons. another guest that was staying here. Their dog was missing. I went in my room, and the dog was in my room. This location is not one that I will come to. It is very ghetto. I was locked out of my room for a whole hour. The front desk lady says she was at her end of her shift and didn’t have time to help me that she would have to contact her GM so until her GM answers I was locked out of my room that I was still paying for. I then grabbed another staff and they got a key and got me in no problem. Then when I went up there, and I told her I needed the number to her manager, she pointed in the direction where the cards was, and as I was walking away, she was talking stuff to me, letting me know that she will threaten to call the police so that I will never return to this hotel again I never even cursed at this lady. I was frustrated that I was locked out of my room for a whole hour because I had to clock in To work and she was acting like she didn’t even want to help me even get in my room. I let her know I was going to report her and she kept saying over and over again that she didn’t care people like this shouldn’t even be working here, then to top it off she had on a pajama while talking to me. I love the Hilton, but this building I will never come to again. Then I booked two rooms both were supposed to be Sweets because I had a lot of children with me when I got here. They said the room was not available anymore and that I had to pick a room that was smaller so I had some kids that had to sleep on the floor. When I booked the reservation, I let them know for sure that they will be able to make this happen. If not, I would have called another location. They let me know that they could for sure when I came in to check in The. Guy said he thought they were going to leave and they decided to stay for another night so now I’m in a position where I have to figure it out. I’m just so ready to clock out of this place and never return.
Our stay was very lovely, staff was friendly. Everything was clean and to our liking. 1/24/2026 at 7pm the lady who worked the front desk had sarcastic comments to make which she should have kept to herself. The rest of the staff where all very lovely and helpful. Overall the hotel was very nice and beautiful. I'd definitely will be back and I'll definitely recommend.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! The ONLY thing I liked about it was our check in lady she was so sweet and helpful! The pool was DISGUSTING there was hair floating everywhere. I went to sit in the hot tub and there was nasty brown stuff on top of the bubbles and dirt and grime on the walls. We left the pool area within 20 minutes of going in. Plus there were no towels we had to walk back to our room soaking wet. Our room was so gross. The floors are stained. We found a Kratom pill on the floor. There are holes all over the walls. The chair is stained. There is mold in the bathroom and the caulk is cracking. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again! I immediately came home stripped everything washed all of our items twice and made us all take showers as soon as we got home!
Breakfast was the best part of the stay. Staff at breakfast was attentive and efficient, the pancakes were probably the best I've had at any hotel in years.. Elevator smelled like cheese and felt like I was in a horror movie. If I had epilepsy I'd have never made it in the building because parking lot lights were strobe lights. Room was okay but TV had no guide information, had to flip through each channel individually, and the thermostat wouldn't control "fan" . I sleep better with the white noise of the fan unit on
I decided to stay at this Holiday Inn as a last-minute decision after my business meeting to be nearby the airport for my departure the next day. I've stayed at A LOT of hotels recently (3 this week alone) and I am truly impressed by how well this one is managed & maintained. Incredibly friendly staff - from the front desk to all the hardworking people keeping the breakfast selection filled. Everybody said hello and wished me a great day. My room was very clean and maintained at a 5-star level. Not to mention the bed and pillows were all so comfortable. THE best!! I walked next door to Cazuelas Mexican Restaurant & Cantina last night for dinner and REALLY enjoyed it. Great food, sizable beer selection and delicious & spicy homemade queso. If I ever get back to this area again, I'll definitely stay here over any other options. Not all Holiday Inns are equal and this one is certainly above and beyond in every category. Thank you!!
Area was safe, staff members were all very nice and friendly. We were disappointed in the condition of the room; stains on the couch and floor, cheetoh under the bed that wasn't ours. The kids had a GREAT time at the pool and hot tub. There were a lot of kids, it was loud but not out of control. All and all we enjoyed our stay. There was also a nice breakfast available. We were also given a drink and snack at check in, which was appreciated.
Our overall experience was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with plenty of options. We utilized the shuttle service to get from the airport to the hotel and they showed up quick and got us to the hotel safely. We scheduled (or so we thought) a return ride to the airport. When we checked out the morning we were leaving, we were informed there was no shuttle scheduled. It was a brief moment of panic before the lady at the front desk said she would schedule an Uber for us.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, the hallways were surprisingly loud, with noise from other guests and staff echoing through the corridors at all hours. It made it tough to relax or sleep peacefully. To top it off, there was a smoke detector in the hallway that kept beeping intermittently
My stay here was horrible. We came in town for business. Our family travels a lot for our line of work. I never ever have experienced what I did. We were on the 3rd floor. I was out working in downtown Columbus and I got a call at 7pm from my mother in law saying that security was threatening to kick them out because my 2 small kids were being too loud but they were just being normal children. The hotel rules state 10pm or later no noise. The front desk lady came upstairs and told my mother in law to “whoop your children if they don’t listen.” That’s highly unprofessional and abusive. My 15 month old woke up in the middle of the night crying because she was teething. I tried calming her by walking around, rocking and comforting her. But apparently it was still an issue for the hotel. It was literally for 15 minutes until she went back to sleep. Not long at all. Needless to say we ended our stay early.
