Update: as of 5/27 still have not heard back from or had a single person contact me about this matter. Will never return and will not recommend to anyone. No excuse for the lack of service provided. They also will not allow me to post photos of the damage to my car or the dirty underwear left in the room. I submitted feed back last week hoping this would be made right but still have not heard anything back. The front desk staff were very nice but I had multiple issues during my stay. We paid for Valet parking but none of the staff could drive manual so I had to park myself and still was charged for valet parking even though we were told it would be taken off. When we left the hotel, my seat was all the back and a scratch was on the bottom of my steering wheel as if someone squeezed into my driver seat. Which doesn’t make sense because they couldn’t drive manual and my car wasn’t moved. The room was nice at first glance, but the usb ports didn’t work next to the bed. The bed side lights would flash if we turned the main lights off. The carpet had pink glitter in it that got on my clothes. And when we were checking out we noticed something blue under the sink. I thought that maybe it was an amenities bag and I didn’t want to leave the room a mess so I reached down and picked it up. It was a pair of dirty blue men’s underwear. That I grabbed with my hand. I let the front desk staff know at check out. For the price that was paid for one night I highly doubt I’d stay here again. It was a major hassle to deal with all of that over one night. And as mentioned I submitted feedback last Wednesday and still have heard nothing back from Hilton or the Canopy.

Hotel itself is very beautiful, but service is the worst! Management clearly doesn't care, because so many things cannot happen at once. - Front desk almost always empty. I haven't ever seen FO of such hotel levels without a clerk. Front office manager should cover the desk when agent has to step away, but instead he was sitting in the back office. While he was out in the lobby heading to the breakfast area, he didn't greet a single guest on his way. - Valet parking (which we didn't use on purpose - the garage is a minute walk) guys are not welcoming the guest, just saying "hey". - Breakfast: it was quite slow on Sunday morning, but half of the tables were not cleaned. When waitress showed up, she started to clean first, before taking care of clients. Menu wasn't provided. And, of course, she was not engaging with a single guest. From her conversation with another colleague that happened right above my head, I learned that she was working double shift a day before. This is very unfortunate, but made me think that the hotel is understaffed. However, it should not be affect guests experience at all!!! Wish for some positive changes, because this place deserves a good quality service to keep with brand standards!

An awesome place to stay in the short north. Very close to the Convention Center and Nationwide Arena. Service staff were great and so very friendly. I love the rooftop bar and restaurant. Great views during the day, but stunning at night. The outdoor area has fire pits to stay warm or just enjoy the fire light. Restaurant staff and food was also amazing. The room was absolutely stunning and clean. I recommend the Canopy to all who was a great stay downtown.

I come to Columbus for work about every other week. I am a loyalist to Hilton brand hotels. I am Diamond member and have been for years. Overall, this hotel is decent. The valet is excellent, the service is good, the restaurant is great and fast. The location is good, Columbus in general is a pretty walkable city. But I’m inclined to never stay here again (this is my third or fourth time). The rooms are down right HOT, there is no other way to put it. It makes being in the room uncomfortable and sleep nearly impossible. I have had to go sit at restaurants just to escape the heat, not my favorite thing to do especially after a long day at work. I don’t always travel alone for work and every single person has said the same thing: HOT rooms. There are plenty of other Hilton options in Columbus and going forward, I will likely choose those over the Canopy every single time. Pictures of the thermostat from my most recent stay are included. Room temperature has not gotten below 75, ridiculous.

Room is very warm; thermostat won’t let me set it below 68 or toggle to AC. The power outlets between the beds lose power when the room lights are turned off — there’s no switch to turn off the “lamps” (meaning the light bar built into the headboard) separately, so you have to choose between charging your phone or turning off the lights. Bush league!

Great place to stay. My room was quiet, clean, comfortable, fresh. Great towels and the shower had plenty of hot water with excellent water pressure. Casual restaurant on the main floor for breakfast and a dinner restaurant on the top floor.

I arrived after midnight and called the front desk for parking instructions. The night clerk, Stacia, did not provide clear or usable directions. When I asked for clarification to avoid parking incorrectly, she hung up on me in the middle of the call. When I later arrived at the front desk, the situation worsened. She told me she had the authority to deny my check-in, despite the fact that I was already checked in with a confirmed reservation. She then made me wait for an extended period, claiming she could not issue a room key, while refusing to switch computers, call a supervisor, or seek help from anyone else. This did not appear to be a technical issue — it appeared intentional. The tone was arrogant, dismissive, and hostile. At no point was I rude; I was simply trying to check into a room I had already paid for. Hanging up on a guest, providing incorrect information, and refusing to involve a supervisor is unacceptable under any circumstances, but especially late at night when guests are tired and vulnerable. This experience reflects extremely poorly on the management and oversight of this property. I will not return, and I strongly caution other travelers — particularly late-night arrivals — to consider staying elsewhere.

Hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. Enjoyed the modern architecture. Central Market restaurant for breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our meal and the girl waiting on us was very nice. In a very convenient spot for walking to local shops/restaurants/nationwide arena. Everyone in the hotel was very polite. I am only giving less stars because we paid quite a bit to have a suite ..room number 508 to be exact, and also used a majority of our points only to have below average room for the cost. Despite the looks which was very nice we had a few issues that were not able to be resolved during our stay despite talking to front desk. The ac/heating was EXTREMELY loud in the living room , sounded like someone drilling (luckily this was not in the bedroom) , the refrigerator did not work so we sadly could not really keep our food we brought back to the room cold and not even "cool" . The shower leaked ALOT all over the floor. There is also no microwave in the room or ANYWHERE in this hotel so be aware you will not be able to bring food back and reheat it not even in the lobby. Very strange and inconvenient ice machines, no instructions on how to use a simple ice machine, had to go to lobby to ask why it wouldn't work...you have to scan your "physical"room key each time and hold it against sensor while holding your ice bucket against it to fill. This is stupid and definitely awkward. Lights all come on in bathroom whether you want them to or not, despite turning some off that you don't want on because they are too bright, too bad because they will all come right back on again despite that. Not everyone wants to be blinded when walking into the bathroom expecially at night time when barely awake. These new lights in these hotels are just super annoying. Not just this hotel. We explained all this to girl at checkout and she was very nice and mentioned she would refund a lot of our points but would rather have some money off instead. In summary, big let down for a Hilton stay.

Hotel is modern, clean and well maintained. Rooms are fresh and modern with the right amount of charm. Everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. The lobby bar and restaurant was good and the rooftop bar is excellent. I will definitely stay here again

Service was great. The staff were all really nice and friendly. Loved the fact that we were able to check into our room before the 4 o'clock check in time. Location was in walking distance to COSI and many restaurants. The hotel does not have on-site parking, hotel offers valet parking for 45 dollars or you can park in a city lot.
