My first time there was for their opening 5k race around the parking lot. Then I went there recently for a concert by a hair metal tribute band called "Hairball". The band really knocked it out of the park with their show. The casino was clean and had some great food choices. I was only there for the race and show and have never gambled there. It's unpleasant to smell smoke in certain areas, but hey... it's a casino, what do you expect!?!?!

Hollywood Casino Columbus is a really impressive place if you want entertainment, good atmosphere, and a chance to relax ??. The building itself is large, modern, and very clean. Everything feels well organized, and the whole casino has a lively but comfortable energy ?. One thing I noticed right away is how much there is to do here ???. It’s not just slot machines — there are restaurants, bars, different gaming areas, and plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. Even if you are not a serious gambler, it can still be a fun place to spend some time. The staff were friendly and professional ?. Security and organization also seemed very solid, which makes the place feel safe and comfortable. I also liked that the casino stays active at almost any hour ?. Since it’s open 24 hours, it’s convenient if you’re traveling or just looking for somewhere interesting late at night ?. Another plus is the large parking area ??. There’s plenty of room, and getting in and out is easy compared to many busy entertainment places. Overall, Hollywood Casino Columbus is a fun and well-maintained place with a good atmosphere, nice restaurants, and plenty of entertainment options ??.

I had fun! The bartenders were nice and courteous. The restaurant with the noodles was great, I ordered veggie lo mein and it was delicious and was given a good portion along with speedy service. I ate there both nights I was there. I also won some money! Anytime I'm in the area, I'll definitely return!;

Who doesn’t love a good casino? It’s very nice considering it’s in Ohio but it gives the vibe of a local Vegas casino. Got a drink at the bar too and the service was great! And yes I got an espresso martini in a plastic cup but it was fantastic. Just come it’s a casino!

Haven’t been since Eddie money played that’s been years ago and he died in 2019. It’s been so long they took out my favorite two machines. The star game and the leprechaun game.

Hollywood Columbus is amazing. It has everything that you want in a casino and soon to have a hotel, that's exciting. Great layout of slots, great variety of table games and absolutely awesome craps tables. Entertainment is a huge hit as well as a sweet sports book. Plenty of good eats for everyone. I love that this is our home town casino.

I’m writing this as a regular customer who genuinely enjoys coming here, but the situation with the Pai Gow table has become extremely frustrating. Every night from around 9pm–4am, it’s the same 6–7 players occupying the only open Pai Gow table. They frequently get up for 20–30 minutes at a time but leave their belongings behind to “hold” their seats, preventing anyone else from playing. On top of that, they rudely tell others to go away and not to wait for a seat because they believe it’s “bad luck” to have people standing around. It creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. What’s even more disappointing is that the casino refuses to open a second Pai Gow table, despite often having 10+ people who want to play and can’t get a seat. Meanwhile, there are multiple dealers standing at empty blackjack or Three Card Poker tables with no players, and plenty of unused table space. It’s hard to understand why a second table can’t be opened when there is clearly consistent demand. I personally visit at least 5 times a week, and during that time I’ve only been able to play once or twice because the same group monopolizes the single table. My group of 6–10 friends often comes with me, and we’re forced to just stand and watch. Watching other people play for hours isn’t entertainment. We enjoy coming here, but if this continues, we may start going to other casinos where customers actually get the opportunity to play. Hopefully management can address this by enforcing seat policies and opening a second table when demand is clearly there.

I am extremely disappointed with the way we were treated at this casino. We are all over 21 years old and presented valid, government-issued IDs, yet we were refused entry without a clear or reasonable explanation. The way the situation was handled felt unprofessional and, quite honestly, discriminatory. Instead of respectfully verifying our identification or calmly explaining any legitimate concern, staff were dismissive and unhelpful. There was no attempt to resolve the issue or treat us like paying customers. Being denied entry despite meeting the age requirement and providing valid ID was embarrassing and frustrating. Casinos should uphold professionalism, fairness, and customer service — especially when dealing with something as straightforward as age verification. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I hope management takes this seriously and provides additional training to ensure future guests are treated with respect and fairness.
